  Sept 4 Sept 4, 2010. Urban Jazz in the Streets - Nationally Acclaimed Jazz Musicians, Free Concerts at The Shops at La Cantera. at 7:30 - 9:30pm. Cool Urban Jazz! A Summer Jazz Series, free concerts at The Falls, on the east end of Main Street by The Yard House, will showcase some of the best talent in the contemporary jazz genre.   SEPT. 3 - 5. SEPT. 3 - 5. Kerrville Wine and Music Festival in Kerrville, Texas. Each year over Labor Day Weekend wine lovers and music enthusiasts gather at the Quiet Valley Ranch (9 miles south of Kerrville on TX Hwy 16) to celebrate the art of songwriting and winemaking. SEPT. 16. Annual 16 de Septiembre at the Plaza Guadalupe. at 11:00am to 10:00pm. The celebration honors Mexico's Independence from Spain with San Antonio's largest 16 de Septiembre festivities. The event is comprised of an annual gala recognizing deserving individuals and organizations with the AGA "Ernie Award," the Avenida 16 de Septiembre Parade stepping off at Guadalupe & Brazos, festival afterwards at The Plaza Guadalupe. Parade chairs welcome. Live music kicks off at 3:00pm with La Calma, Los Fabulocos and Fama. Kids area from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Plaza Guadalupe located at 1327 Guadalupe St, San Antonio. SEPT. Jazz'SAlive at Travis Park. Sept 19, Saturday from noon to 11pm. and Sept 20, Sunday from noon to 10pm. Jazz'SAlive is a FREE two-day festival featuring national, regional and local musicians.  The event features national recording Jazz artists, as well as regional and local Jazz favorites.   SEPT. SEPT. Gardens by Moonlight at the San Antonio Botanical Gardens. Sept 26, Saturday from 7pm to 11pm. Enjoy a romantic evening listening to live music, and strolling the gardens under the stars. There will be five stages of live entertainers. Food and drink concessions are available. Bring your own seating is encouraged. Tickets are $20.00 at the gate.
