San Antonio River Walk

The highlight of San Antonio is at its namesake river, the River Walk. San Antonio River Walk provides ample opportunities for recreation, from walking along the River Walk to cruising along the River Walk in a river boat cruise. The River Walk is also home to an abundance of restaurants, bars, shops, and nightclubs too. The downtown area of San Antonio provides over 100 unique shops & restaurants. Stroll the tree-lined S.A. Visitors can float alongside San Antonio's River Walk during narrated tours on the San Antonio River. Dining boats are available, too. Alamo

The Alamo is the most popular tourist site in Texas. It is a historic place where Texas fought for its independence from Mexico. The Battle of the Alamo in 1836, was a pivotal event in the Texas Revolution. Famous defenders of the Alamo were William B. Travis, James Bowie, and Davvy Crocket. Visitors can see the chapel of the Alamo and go inside and see artifacts from the time period. It features a glimpse into the past. The Alamo is located downtown San Antonio.
